My Thesis was a Photographic project about Valparaiso and its emblematic temple La Matriz, one of the first and oldest church in Chile, founded in 1559, and declared National Monument in 1971.
I divided the project in 3 parts: Interiors, People and Ceremony.
This 1st part consisted of interior shots using natural light. Obviously I used Photoshop to adjust the colors, but I respected the lights and general conditions of the place. I wanted to use my camera as an instrument of purification: turning dust into light, and corruption into images of spiritual innocence.
….and part 2 it’s on its way!
